Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sign up?
Use the Sign In button at the top right, then Create account. Pick a username and password. You can also sign in with Discord where it's offered.
How do I join a league?
Open any league from the Leagues page and join it as a free agent. From there you can request a spot on a team, or register in your region's sub pool.
How do teams work?
Every team has a captain who runs the roster, and optionally a co-captain to help. Captains approve join requests, handle scheduling, and set the team's look. Want your own team? Create one and recruit.
How does matchmaking work?
You don't challenge other teams. Each week the league generates fixtures by rating, so you're matched against teams near your level. Your job is to schedule the match with your opponent and play it.
What is MMR and how do ranks work?
Every team has a rating that moves with its results. New teams show as Unranked until they've played three matches, then they're placed. Ratings sort teams into letter ranks from S down to D, with promotion and relegation as the season goes on.
How does scheduling work?
Both teams fill out an availability grid, the site shows you the hours that overlap, and one captain proposes a time the other accepts. Times are always shown in your own time zone.
What if my team is short a player on match night?
Leagues have regional sub pools. Anyone registered as a sub in your region can be brought in as a reservist for a match, so one busy evening doesn't have to mean a forfeit.
Can I run my own league?
Yes, that's the point of the platform, and creating one is free: rules, regions, format, look, all yours to set, with up to 12 teams playing full seasons at no cost. One game can hold several leagues, each with its own style. Broadcasting, the Discord bot, the AI assistant and bigger team limits are paid packages your league adds per season from its own pages.
Can matches be cast or streamed?
Yes. The broadcast package includes a live scorebug and stream overlays, and league staff can set up casting for any match.
How do name changes work?
Team and player names change free once every 6 months. Changing sooner uses a name-change credit from the Store.
Where are the league rules?
Every league has a Rules tab with its code of conduct, scheduling and dispute policy, set by that league's owner.
Someone's breaking the rules. Who do I tell?
Start with your league's staff, since they moderate their own league. For anything platform-wide, reach the operators at support@axivr.com.
I want a feature you don't have.
Ask. Request it at support@axivr.com. We can't promise everything, but if it's something we can build, we will.
