Code of conduct
These are the rules for how people behave on AXI-VR. They apply everywhere on the platform, in every league, to everyone: players, captains, subs, casters, league staff and people watching.
Last updated 18 September 2026
Where this applies
This code covers the AXI-VR website, AXI-VR's own official leagues and every league anyone runs here. It also covers any Discord server where a league runs the AXI-VR bot, including its match rooms and tickets, every broadcast of a league's matches, and the matches themselves, in game and on voice.
The Terms of Service are the agreement you make by using AXI-VR. This page is the behaviour side of that agreement, spelled out. Every league also has a Rules tab with its own rules on top of this code. A league can ask more of you than this page does. It can't allow something this page forbids.
Fair play
Win on skill. That means no cheats, no hacks, no macros and no mods that give you an edge. If you find a bug that helps you win, tell your league's staff instead of using it.
No match-fixing. Don't agree a result in advance, don't throw a match on purpose, and don't lose to push a rating up or down. The same goes for trading wins with a friendly team.
Play as yourself. No ringers, no playing on someone else's account, and no letting someone play on yours. Subs come from the league's sub pool, not from anywhere else.
One person, one account. Making a second account, or using anyone's account to get round a suspension or ban, is grounds for a platform-wide ban on its own. When you sign in, AXI-VR records the network address and device you sign in from, as the Privacy Policy describes. Platform managers can see when two accounts share them, and whether either one is suspended or banned.
Report scores honestly, and only dispute a result you really think is wrong.
Respect
Trash talk about the game is fine. Going after the person is not.
No harassment. That includes picking on someone again and again, getting others to pile on, and following someone from server to server after they've asked you to stop.
No hate. Nothing that attacks people for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age. That covers slurs, symbols, jokes and "just banter".
No threats, including ones you say you didn't mean. Never tell anyone to hurt themselves.
No doxxing. Don't share anyone's real name, address, school, workplace, photos or any other personal detail they haven't made public themselves, and don't threaten to.
No sexual content in any shared space: chat, voice, names, profile images or broadcasts.
Players under 18
This is the section that matters most. You can make an account on AXI-VR from age 13 (16 where your country sets it higher), so some of the people you play with may be under 18. AXI-VR doesn't ask anyone's age, so treat anyone you don't know as if they could be.
No sexual content, comments or requests toward anyone under 18. Not in public, not in private, not as a joke.
Don't move a player under 18 into private chats. Keep contact to the league's own spaces: its Discord channels, match rooms and tickets. Don't DM them, add them on other apps, or invite them into other servers or private VR rooms.
Don't pressure anyone under 18 for personal details or images. That means their real name, age, address, school, phone number, social media, location, photos or video. Don't offer money, gifts or in-game items for anything.
We treat any of this as the most serious breach there is. It doesn't wait for penalty points: a platform manager can ban the account from all of AXI-VR straight away, and league staff can remove the person from their league and its Discord server. Report it to support@axivr.com even if the league has already acted, because a league's ban only covers that one league.
If you're under 18 and someone does any of this to you, you haven't done anything wrong. Don't reply. Keep a screenshot, and tell a parent or guardian, a league moderator, or us at support@axivr.com. If anyone is in danger right now, contact your local emergency services first.
Safety in VR
Look after your play space. Clear the area, set your boundary, and keep people and pets out of reach while you play. Take breaks. Never dare or pressure anyone into a move that isn't safe in the room they're in.
Stopping to deal with a real-world safety problem is never a breach of this code. Your league's rules say how a paused or abandoned match is settled.
Respect personal space in VR. It feels real to the person on the other end. Don't stand inside someone's avatar, grab at it, touch it in a sexual way, block their view or follow them around. If a game gives people a personal space bubble, a mute or a block, they can use it, and working around it is harassment.
Don't blast noise, music or soundboards into voice chat.
Names and profiles
Usernames, team names, logos, banners, avatars and bios follow the same rules as everything else here. No hate, no slurs, no sexual content and no personal details.
Don't pretend to be someone else: another player, league staff, a caster, AXI-VR, or a real team or company.
The first person to use a team name holds it across every league on AXI-VR, ignoring capitals and extra spaces. Don't try to get round that with a look-alike name to pass as someone else's team.
League staff can rename a team and replace its logo and banner. Your username is one name across the whole platform, so only you or a platform manager can change it.
Casting and streaming
Casters speak for the league while they're on air. A league's owner chooses its casters and can remove them. What airs on a league's broadcast is that league's responsibility, under the same rules as everything else on this page.
Call the game, not the person. Be fair to both teams. Don't mock players, don't read out chat that breaks this code, and never share a player's personal details on air.
If you stream your own matches, follow any rules your league sets on stream delay. Don't watch a live broadcast of your own match to gain an edge.
Someone suspended can't cast. A league ban also ends a person's caster role in that league.
Reporting and evidence
Something wrong in a league goes to that league's staff first. If the league runs AXI-VR tickets in its Discord server, open one there. A ticket is a private thread between you and the league's staff. Once your Discord is linked, your profile lists the tickets you've opened, and their transcripts once they're saved.
A result you think is wrong: a captain or co-captain of either team can dispute a played match from its match page, and the league's moderators review it.
Anything involving a player under 18, anything platform-wide, and anything about a league's own staff goes to support@axivr.com. League staff can't be suspended or banned from their own league while they hold the role, so a report about staff should come to us.
Send evidence with your report: screenshots, clips, the match link, usernames and Discord names, and when it happened. Don't edit it. Send it to staff rather than posting it publicly to shame someone.
A report you know is false is itself a breach of this code. So is flooding staff with reports to get someone punished, and so is getting back at someone for reporting you. League staff can block a member from opening tickets, for a set time or until they lift it.
What happens when rules are broken
In a league. A league's owner and moderators can suspend you from their league for anywhere from 1 to 365 days, or ban you from it. While suspended you can't join the league, create or join a team, sign up as a sub, propose or accept a kickoff time, dispute a result, register for a tournament or cast. A league ban lasts until staff lift it. It takes you off your team (the captaincy passes to the co-captain, then the next member), out of the sub pool, cancels your pending requests and ends any caster role there. Neither one touches your other leagues.
In a league's Discord server. League moderators can warn you, mute you, or kick or ban you from that server. They can also file a private staff note, which records the incident for staff and does nothing to you: no action, and no message, because telling you that you had been warned when you had not would be untrue. A warning for a named offence climbs a ladder. By default the first is a warning, the second a one-hour mute, the third a one-day mute, and the fourth and every one after it a ban from the server. A league can change its steps, and its Rules tab shows the ones it uses. Different offences are counted separately, and a case stops counting after 90 days. Moderators can also act directly, and can lift a mute or ban early. Nothing done in Discord changes your account or your place in the league.
What the bot does on its own. When a league's plan includes the bot's moderation tools, the bot watches for two things, unless the league turns them off. Someone posting a lot of messages in a few seconds is filed under its own offence and climbs the same ladder, so repeat flooding can reach the ban step without a person deciding. Brand-new Discord accounts that join in a sudden rush are removed from the server (not banned) and can come back with a fresh invite. When a league uses the bot to build its server, it also switches on Discord's own spam and mass-mention filters. The bot doesn't scan what messages say. That's for the moderators. When it warns, mutes, kicks or bans you, it sends you a direct message saying what happened and why, if your DMs are open. A league can also set a step to a private staff note, and a note is silent: nothing happens to you and nothing is sent, because a message saying you had been warned would not be true.
Across AXI-VR. Platform managers give penalty points for breaches of this code. Each penalty has its own expiry, 30 days unless they set another, and only points that haven't expired count. When your points reach a new line, your account is suspended from every league: 10 points is 1 week, 20 is 3 weeks, 30 is 6 weeks, 40 is 10 weeks and 50 is 16 weeks. A suspension from points never shortens one already running. The top step is still a suspension. Points never turn into a ban by themselves.
A platform suspension stops the same things a league suspension does, in every league at once. You can still sign in. Platform managers can also suspend an account directly, without points, for as long as they judge right. A platform ban is permanent: the account can't sign in, with a password or with Discord, and any session already open ends. Active penalty points and any platform suspension or ban show on your public profile. A league suspension or ban shows on your player page in that league.
The league assistant and virtual moderator can answer questions and gather past decisions for staff, but they never decide anything, and nothing they say is a ruling. Nothing automatic ever bans an account from AXI-VR or from a league. Apart from the suspension that follows points a platform manager gives, the only things that act without a person are the bot's two watches in Discord, above.
Appeals
A league suspension or ban is that league's decision. Talk to its staff.
A ban from a league's Discord server can be appealed on the website, from the league's Rules tab, because you can't use a server you've been banned from. You need to be signed in with your Discord linked, and you can have one appeal open per league. A league moderator reviews it and decides. Approving it lifts the ban. If it's denied, you can appeal again after 30 days. Mutes run out on their own.
A platform suspension, ban or penalty is decided by platform managers. Email support@axivr.com. A banned account can't sign in, so email is the way to reach us. Penalty points also expire on their own, and a platform manager can clear them early.
Asking again and again, or asking from another account, doesn't help your case.
Changes to this page
When this code changes, the new version goes up here with a new date, and big changes get announced in News. It changes when the platform changes, so it keeps describing what actually happens here.
